Sandridge Technology Process
Since we are transitioning from staff working in the building to working from home we will need to change our tech process when devices are not working properly. Starting on Monday, November 23, 2020, the following is the process:
If you have a device that is not working properly please call 708-825-8569. This number will direct you to Mrs. Purcell. You will need to let her know what issues you are experiencing. From there she will provide you with next steps.
Computer drop-off will ONLY occur on Mondays from 9:00-11:00.
I implore parents to take the time to talk to your children about taking extreme care of the devices that were issued. Many of them are not being properly taken care of and have come back extremely damaged. In turn, this results in a fee charged for repair and/or replacement. Many of the damages could have been prevented if students would have taken proper care of the device.
*Keep the device away from pets to avoid chewed cords!
*Do not eat or drink while using the device to avoid spills!
*Be careful when opening and closing the device so you do not exceed the range of motion for the monitor!
*Please avoid lotion or hair products come in contact with the device.
*Please sign out of all programs and shut down the device completely at the end of each school day.
