Sandridge Parents and Guardians,

I hope this letter finds your family safe and well. Since the beginning of this school year, staff members have been on-site providing instruction and student support services to our students. In order to adhere to the Illinois Department of Public Health recommended guidelines our teachers and paraprofessionals will have the choice to begin working from home effective Thursday, November 19, 2020. Students will still follow their daily schedule as outlined by the teacher.

We will continue to distribute breakfast and lunch on November 19 and 20 between the hours of 9:00 am until 11:00 am.

On Monday, November 23, 2020, we will distribute a full week of student meals on that day only. This will require you to make plans to pick up on Monday only and thus making it easier on you as you only have to make one trip to the school rather than a daily visit. (The week of November 23rd students only attend school on Monday and Tuesday due to Thanksgiving break. Therefore only two days of meals will be distributed. On Monday, November 30, 2020, five days of meals will be distributed.)

After Monday, there will be no meals distributed for the remainder of the week.

Sandridge Staff is brainstorming ways to serve you and support you while also caring for our families and dealing with our personal lives.

We don't have all the answers, but we will do our very best to tell you what we know, when we know it, and in a timely fashion.

Please be patient--with us and with yourselves. We are all learning together, and we'll get through this together. It won't be easy, but we can do it.
