Dr. Michael Kuzniewski


    Dr. Michael Kuzniewski, Jr.



    Raised in Harvey and a former resident of Lynwood, Dr. Kuzniewski (Dr. K) attended Thornwood High School. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from North Central College in Naperville, a Masters in Administration and Supervision from the University of South Florida in Tampa and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.

    Dr. Kuzniewski has worked in various facets of the education field since 1982, serving in five districts in two states as a Teacher, Coach, Athletic Director, Assistant Principal, Principal, and Executive Director most recently at Morton High School District 201 first as Assistant Superintendent and then as Superintendent. Additionally, he has served as an adjunct professor at the collegiate level.


    He is a professional development provider and a passionate educator who has managed grants and entitlements in urban and suburban settings. He is extremely passionate that the students of Sandridge School have equal access to educational opportunities. Dr. Kuzniewski is extremely excited for the opportunity to help guide Sandridge 172 as they move into the future.
